AMESPHERE KEY is among the projects selected for this year’s ADI Design Index, a recognition of the ADI – Association for Industrial Design, preparatory to participation in the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award. Selected for the “Design for Work” category, AMESPHERE KEY represents the central core of the AMESPHERE system, AME’s proprietary platform capable of redesigning the way companies address the issue of safety in complex work environments. The cover design was created by the Florence-based Un-real studio, while the internal brain was designed by AME engineers. The exhibition of the best design products and services premiered Nov. 6 in Milan: quality at the heart of this XXVII edition.

KEY

“The ADI Design Index, preparatory to participation in the prestigious Compasso D’oro, which takes place next year, has always represented a unique opportunity to explore excellence in the world of design and engineering,” commented Claudio Salvador, president of AME. “For this edition, the key word was ‘quality,’ as recalled by ADI Foundation President Umberto Cabini and ADI President Luciano Galimberti: a quality that is the essence of Italian design, a distinctive element that strengthens and enhances it, and a strategic lever to improve our export. A value that we have always made our own in AME with the design of occupational safety systems that were not only functional but represented the result of a quality process. And that were, why not, also beautiful to look at despite the fact that they are mostly used in construction sites, large works and plants.”

AMESPHERE KEY, in particular has intended to summarize with its soft shape and rounded lines, the concept of “HUB “or “Sphere “on which all the data collected in the ‘environment converge. A central body that can also be used in outdoor environments, combining design and functionality, ergonomics and integration, research and engineering. “This is what we have always tried to do in our company,” continued Filippo Bonifacio, CEO AME, “designing solutions that put people’s safety at the center, through cutting-edge technologies that condense engineering, quality and design. We are truly honored to have received this recognition and to enter with our AMESPHERE KEY in the ADI Design 2023. And also a little bit in history, as ADI Vice President Antonella Adriani mentioned.”
