Vacancies

Description of work
  • Manage on-site or remotely the infrastructures of safety, communication, and environmental monitoring systems;
  • Provide system support to customers, and monitor the performance of the safety systems installed;
  • Manage the operating section of installing and testing electronic equipment concerning active safety solutions;
  • Establish and handle structured relationships with the engineers in charge of projects acquired by the company.
Required skills and experience
The successful candidate must:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or three-year degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • Have skills to solve switching/routing problems
  • Administer network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Know network monitoring and performance monitoring systems
  • Basic knowledge of HW architecture, operating systems, scripting languages, and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English

Work Venue
The company is headquartered in Florence, but availability to work on call and to travel in Italy and abroad very frequently is required. The tasks will be carried out outside the company most of the time, directly on the systems purchased by the company.
Integration period:
The candidate should be available for May 2022.

  • Manage the operating section of installing and testing electronic equipment concerning active safety solutions;
  • Establish and handle structured relationships with the engineers in charge of projects acquired by the company so that the systems installed are properly used and operate correctly.
Required skills and experience
The successful candidate must:
  • Hold a Technical Expert Diploma or a three-year Degree in Engineering
  • Knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, communication networks, software
  • Good skills to understand wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English

Description of work
We are looking for students who are about to graduate in industrial automation or electronics. The successful candidate will be accompanied by a designated tutor of the manufacturing department, and will be trained for the competencies of a Programmer of electronic systems. The trainee will work in the manufacturing department; the tasks will be programming, checking and testing circuit boards to be used to make the systems that the company makes, setting up and activating these systems in the industrial environments, and providing support.
Competences to be acquired during the traineeship
  • Program, check and test circuit boards to be used to make the systems
  • Set up and activate electronic systems in industrial environments in connection with active safety solutions at the customers’ facilities
  • Manage the interfacing with other electronic systems fitted in the vehicles, in plants, and towards IT platforms
  • Provide support for the electronic devices of the systems
Work Venue
The trainee, equipped with suitable technical instruments, will work at the Florence facilities. Timing and Agreement: A 6-month training period
