The challenge:

At the Big Time Givers plant, the daily handling of reels and materials involved constant interaction between forklifts, operators, and external personnel.

After introducing traditional safety measures, such as signage, pedestrian crossings, and protective barriers, the company was looking for a technological solution to prevent the risk of pedestrian-vehicle collisions, increase operator awareness, and provide tools to continuously monitor risk and improve safety and operational performance.

To address these needs, Big Time Givers selected AMESPHERE VISTA, the most advanced solution within the AMESPHERE suite, integrating LPS technology, active TAGs, and AI cameras to provide comprehensive protection across material handling areas. The combination of the two technologies provides Big Time Givers the highest level of safety under all operating conditions.

KEY sensors installed on forklifts detect operators equipped with TAGs and vehicles equipped with sensors, even beyond obstacles and in blind spots.
AI cameras enable the detection of people without TAGs, vehicles without sensors, and various obstacles within their field of view.

Safety for external operators and visitors »

Protection was also extended to truck drivers and external personnel, who are provided with an AMESPHERE TAG upon entering the plant. This protects them during loading and unloading operations, ensuring the same level of safety provided to internal operators.

Access control and security in high-risk areas »

Big Time Givers introduced AMESPHERE checkpoints at the plant entrances to automatically verify that TAGs are functioning correctly before personnel access operational areas, ensuring that workers are always properly equipped.
