Environmental parameter monitoring
In addition to gas detection, the system monitors all other critical parameters necessary for operational safety and continuity. Sensors track smoke, abnormal temperatures, equipment status, communication systems, and safety devices. The platform centralizes all this data and makes it available in real time, enabling operators to:
- Quickly identify problems or anomalies
- Automatically manage alarms locally and remotely
- Maintain a complete, up-to-date view of tunnel conditions;
Gas detection
The gas detection system is designed to quickly and accurately identify hazardous substances within the tunnel. A network of sensors distributed along the tunnel continuously monitors toxic or flammable gases such as CO, NO₂, H₂S, as well as oxygen levels and LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). When a parameter exceeds safety thresholds, the system responds immediately:
- First Threshold – Pre-Alarm: triggers initial alerts and notifies operators for immediate action.
- Second Threshold – Alarm: triggers a full alert with sirens, flashing lights, and instant notifications to the control room for evacuation.
This approach ensures continuous and reliable gas monitoring, reduces the risk of accidents, and allows operators to act quickly and safely.
