The GEOFENCING module is a real revolution in the field of logistics and safety. The system allows the creation of areas within which it is possible to modify the performance of the forklift and the system parameters of the Egopro Safe MOVE 4.0 anti-collision device.
With this functionality, both the vehicle and the system adapt in real time to the pre-configured security requirements.
The areas concerned, because more dangerous or with special characteristics, are defined together with the customer. Once this first step is completed, each area is associated with a profile with certain properties.
The creation of the areas is easy via the Egopro Safe MOVE 4.0 display, installed on the vehicle.
The areas can be managed with three different technologies depending on the customer’s needs:
GPS
Used for OUTDOOR areas. The forklift with on board the GPS outlines the areas through coordinates and through the display it associates the profiles.
UWB
Ideal for INDOOR areas. It is necessary to create an infrastructure that through the installation of POST SENSOR in the environment, allows you to know the location of the vehicle and the creation of areas.
POST TAG
The POST TAG can be used for both internal and external areas. The areas are created through the placement of POST TAGS, which are:
- easy to install
- battery-powered
- carriageable
- do not need any infrastructure
The GEOFENCING module, added to the Egopro Safe MOVE 4.0 anti-collision system, allows an active and dynamic prevention that adapts to any type of situation, improving safety and optimizing the logistic flow of forklifts and operators.
